East Regional 2nd Round: (4) Wisconsin 73 – (13) Montana 49

ALBUQUERQUE, NM– Ryan Evans’ 18 points off the bench led 4-seed Wisconsin over 13-seed Montana 73-49 in their NCAA Tournament 2nd round East Regional matchup. The loss ended Montana’s season and their school-record 14-game winning streak.

The Badgers (25-9) had four players in double figures, with Jordan Taylor (17), Josh Gasser (12), and Rob Wilson (10) joining high-scorer Evans. Wisconsin will square off against the winner of Vanderbilt-Harvard winner in the next round of the East Regional on Saturday.

Montana (25-7) was led by Art Steward’s 18 points.

Dave Sims and Michael Cage called the action on the Westwood One Radio Network.
