DAYTON, OH – South Florida made sure there would be no drama en route to the school’s first-ever NCAA Tournament victory.
Victor Rudd, Jr. scored a team-high 15 points, leading a quartet of Bulls in double-figures, as South Florida pounded California by a 65-54 final in the last of the First Four games from Dayton on Wednesday night.
The 12th-seeded Bulls will meet fifth-seeded Temple on Friday night in Nashville.
Dave Ryan and Alaa Abdelnaby called the action on the Westwood One Radio Network.
