STORRS, CT – Jim Calhoun returned to the bench for the first time since early February and his Connecticut Huskies overcame a second half rally by Pittsburgh to win 74-65 on Saturday afternoon.
Shabazz Napier led UConn (18-12, 8-10) with 23 points and 6 assists. Pittsburgh (16-15, 5-13) overcame a 14-point halftime deficit and took a 61-60 lead with just 2:56 remaining. But the Huskies responded with a 10-1 run to put the game away.
