Masters Round One Highlights As They Happened

AUGUSTA, GA – The 2012 Masters is underway at Augusta National and our broadcast team is in position to bring you live hole-by-hole coverage all afternoon long.

We’ll update this page with highlights and interviews from our coverage as they happen throughout the day.

7:30 PM ET: So that’s it from Augusta National on Day One. Come back later for more on “The Masters Tonight.” The complete leader board is available here.

7:15 PM ET: The final group of the day wrapped up play with Peter Hanson making par to finish with a 68. Phil Mickelson birdied 18 to finish with a two-over 74.

7:01 PM ET: Rory McIlroy goes birdie-birdie on the final two holes to finish with a one-under 71.

6:57 PM ET: And Peter Hanson must have heard me. He birdies 17 to move to -4, one shot off the lead.

6:38 PM ET: The rain has mostly stayed away thus far. Just drizzles and they’re still playing. Westwood still the leader at -5. Oosthuizen a shot back at -4. Peter Hanson is -3 through 16 and is the only player on the course with a realistic chance of matching Westwood’s mark.

6:22 PM ET: Westwood is in the clubhouse with a five-under 67 — but Vijay Singh had the most memorable shot in his group at the final hole.
