AUGUSTA, GA – Louis Oosthuizen couldn’t quite earn his first green jacket on Sunday at Augusta National, but he did produce a shot that will long be remembered in Masters history.
On the 2nd hole, Oosthuizen carded just the fourth double eagle in the history of the tournament and first on the par-five second hole.
The historic shot took Oosthuizen to ten under par on the tournament – the same score that would earn him a spot in a playoff with eventual winner Bubba Watson.
