Gymnastics: Gabby falls short on the uneven bars; balance beam up next

LONDON – Gabby Douglas was unable to repeat her all-around heroics on Monday night in the finals of the uneven bars.

The 16-year-old two-time gold medalist missed one of the elements of her routine and finished 8th in the event – but she still has one more chance at a third Olympic gold as she’ll compete in the balance beam finals on Tuesday.

After her disappointing outing on the bars, Gabby spoke with our gymnastics announcers Joe Tolleson and Peter Vidmar.
