PITTSBURGH, PA – Quinnipiac raced to a 3-0 lead in the first period and never looked back, beating St. Cloud State 4-1 to advance to the men’s ice hockey national championship game.
Jordan Samuels-Thomas scored on the power play just 1:49 into the game to get the Bobcats off to a quick start. Ben Arnt and Jereemy Langlois tallied later in the period as well.
Quinnipiac will face Yale in Saturday’s championship game.
