MILWAUKEE, WI – Despite a resilient effort on the defensive end, the Terriers were ultimately unable to find enough scoring touch of their own to hang with the second-seeded Wolverines, as Michigan outlasted Wofford 57-40.
Jordan Morgan recorded a double-double for the Wolverines, while Nik Stauskas and Glenn Robinson III added 15 and 14 points, respectively, for John Beilein’s squad.
Junior guard Karl Cochran led all scorers with 17 points for the Terriers, despite a rough night from behind the three-point arc.
Michigan advances to the Third Round and will take on the winner of the Texas vs. Arizona State contest.
Wayne Larrivee and Kelly Tripucka called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
