DES MOINES, Iowa – Yogi Ferrell scored 20 points to pace five double-figure scorers, and added 10 assists to lead Indiana to a 99-74 first-round win over Chattanooga.
The Hoosiers led 46-37 at intermission before blasting the Mocs, 53-37, in the second half and leading by as many as 29 with 1:09 to play. Chattanooga shot 49 percent for the game, but was just 3-of-15 from 3-point range. IU, meanwhile, shot a blistering 65 percent overall including 10-of-17 beyond the arc. Ferrell had four 3-pointers, Nick Zeisloft added three and Og Anunoby had two.
Anunoby added 14 points for the Hoosiers and Thomas Bryant had 13. Duke Ethridge had 12 points to lead Chattanooga.
