OKLAHOMA CITY – JeQuan Lewis scored 21 points and Mo Alie-Cox added 20 to propel No. 10-seed Virginia Commonwealth to a 75-67 upset of No. 7-seed Oregon State. VCU led virtually the entire contest and never trailed in the second half, leading by as many as 11 with 1:35 to play.
Alie-Cox paced the Rams with eight rebounds, contributing to a 40-28 advantage on the boards. Gary Payton II scored 19 points for Oregon State.
