Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Championship: Oregon State blasts UCLA

SEATTLE – Oregon State used a balanced attack to defeat UCLA 69-57 and capture the program’s first Pac-12 women’s tournament championship.

The Beavers beat UCLA in a game that was not nearly as close as the final score indicated, racing to a 50-19 lead at one point in the third quarter.

Ruth Hamblin scored 23 and grabbed 20 rebounds, Sydney Wiese added 21 and Jamie Weisner had 19.

Dick Fain and Krista Blunk called the action on Westwood One Sports.
