SEATTLE – Oregon State used a balanced attack to defeat UCLA 69-57 and capture the program’s first Pac-12 women’s tournament championship.
The Beavers beat UCLA in a game that was not nearly as close as the final score indicated, racing to a 50-19 lead at one point in the third quarter.
Ruth Hamblin scored 23 and grabbed 20 rebounds, Sydney Wiese added 21 and Jamie Weisner had 19.
