Team USA Highlights: Americans capture gold with epic shootout win over Canada

Monique Lamoureux got the game-tying goal late in the third period, her twin sister Jocelyne put the Americans ahead with an unreal move in the sixth round of the shootout and Maddie Rooney made the final save to deliver Team USA its first gold medal in women’s ice hockey since 1998 with a 3-2 win over Canada.

Ralph Strangis and Colby Cohen had the call for Westwood One.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
