After defending champion Notre Dame rallied from a 17 point deficit, Baylor’s Chloe Jackson scored with 3.9 seconds left and Notre Dame’s Arike Ogunbowale missed a free throw to give Baylor their third NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship in program history.
Baylor joins UConn and Tennessee as the only three women’s programs with at least three titles. Jackson led Baylor with 26 points in the game, and was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player after the game.
