In 2022, for the first time, Westwood One will broadcast the Women’s Frozen Four in addition to the Men’s Frozen Four.

In conjunction with Learfield, Westwood One Sports will broadcast this year’s women’s ice hockey semifinals and championship on March 18th and 20th from Pegula Ice Arena in State College, Pennsylvania. Brian Tripp will serve as the lead play-by-play announcer for the Women’s Frozen Four. He has called the last three Men’s Frozen Fours for the network. Kendall Coyne Schofield will be the color analyst. Tim Leonard hosts the pregame and intermission reports.

The Men’s Frozen Four will take place April 7th and 9th at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Tripp will return as the play-by-play announcer for his fourth straight Frozen Four with Westwood One. Veteran college hockey announcer Dave Starman will return for the second consecutive year as the color analyst. Shireen Saski will be the rinkside reporter for the sixth time with the network. Lance Medow hosts the pregame and intermission reports.
