OMAHA, NE – LSU is one win away from a national championship after capturing Game One over Florida 4-3 in 11 innings on Saturday night.
The Tigers grabbed the lead courtesy of a home run by Cade Beloso in the top of the 11th and held on for the victory.
LSU starter Ty Floyd struck out 17 in eight innings.
Game Two is Sunday afternoon with pregame at 2:45pm Eastern. If necessary, Game Three would be played on Monday night.
