After they were selected in Thursday night’s first round, Amber Theoharis interviewed the players on hand in Detroit for the 2024 NFL Draft.


USC quarterback Caleb Williams was the first overall pick by the Chicago Bears.


The second quarterback of the night was chosen with the second overall pick as the Washington Commanders selected LSU’s Jayden Daniels.


New England selected North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye with the 3rd pick.


With the 4th pick, Arizona selected Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison, Jr.


With the 6th pick, the New York Giants selected LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers.


With the 7th pick, Tennessee selected Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham.


Chicago was the first team to have a second first-round pick on Thursday night and selected Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze, adding a target for top overall pick Caleb Williams.


With the 15th pick, Indianapolis selected edge rusher Laiatu Latu out of UCLA.


With the 17th overall pick, the Minnesota Vikings selected Alabama edge Dallas Turner.


The Philadelphia Eagles used the 22nd pick to select Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell.


One pick later, at #23, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas, Jr.


With the 24th pick, the host Detroit Lions selected Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold.


With their second first-round pick of the night the Arizona Cardinals selected Missouri edge Darius Robinson with the 27th pick.
