COLUMBUS, OH – Draymond Green’s triple-double powered the 1-seed Spartans to an 89-67 win over 16-see LIU-Brooklyn in their NCAA Tournament West Regional 2nd round game. Green scored 24 points, pulled 12 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists to lead the Spartans into a 3rd round matchup with St. Louis on Sunday.
The Blackbirds trailed only by five at halftime before Michigan State pulled away in the 2nd half.
Jamal Olasewere notched a team-high 17 points in the loss for LIU-Brooklyn.
