NEW YORK, NY – Pierre Jackson was the star again as Baylor won the NIT with a 74-54 victory over Iowa at Madison Square Garden. It is the first NIT championship in the school’s history
Jackson scored 17 points and grabbed 10 assists to lead the Bears, who also got 23 points from Cory Jefferson and 15 from Isaiah Austin.
Iowa shot just 26% from the field as Baylor pulled away in the second half.
