ASHEVILLE, NC – Karl Cochran had 23 points as Wofford held on to beat Western Carolina 56-53 and advance to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in five years.
Cochran had his third straight big game and was named the Southern Conference Tournament’s most outstanding player.
Brandon Boggs led the Catamounts with 17 points in defeat.
