In conjunction with NBC Sports, and the Horse Racing Radio Network, Westwood One is pleased to once again present exclusive, live play-by-play coverage of all three legs of the Triple Crown of thoroughbred racing: the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes.
The second leg of this year’s Triple Crown — the 144th Preakness Stakes – will take place on Saturday, May 18th at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
Mike Penna of the Horse Racing Radio Network anchors our coverage. He is joined this year by Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens, who won each leg of the Triple Crown three times during his career. Kurt Becker, Tom Leach and former jockey Jeff Bloom will contribute to the coverage. Larry Collmus handles the play-by-play of the race.
