Saturday’s SEC opener between Florida and Texas A&M in College Station will mark not one, but two new beginnings in the long history of Aggie football.
First, of course, is A&M’s move out of the Big 12 and into the Southeastern Conference. And, secondly, the game will be the first for new head coach Kevin Sumlin, who was hired after leading Houston to perhaps the most successful season in that program’s history last year.
Sumlin spoke with NCAA Insider host Chuck Cooperstein ahead of the game against the Gators.
