DALLAS, TX – Well, it’s safe to say what Washington Redskins fans are thankful for this year.
Rookie Robert Griffin III threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns as the ‘Skins beat the Dallas Cowboys 38-31 on Thanksgiving Day.
Washington led 28-3 at the half and 35-13 early in the fourth quarter before Dallas engineered an ultimately futile comeback attempt. Tony Romo was 37 of 62 for 441 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in defeat.
