SANTA CLARA, CA – Trailing 24-7 at halftime, the San Francisco 49ers scored 27 unanswered points in the second half en route to a 34-31 win over the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game at Levi’s Stadium.
Brock Purdy totaled 224 yards in the final two quarters, and the 49ers defense stopped the Lions on a pair of second half fourth down attempts. The comeback matched the largest in NFC Championship Game history.
