Eric Paslay joins Clay Travis this week as the guest co-host on College Football Country.
While the name might not be instantly familiar, the songs Eric’s written are to most country music fans. They include Eli Young Band’s #1 hit “Even if it Breaks Your Heart” and Love and Theft’s “Angel Eyes.” Eric is on tour now and his self-titled debut is due in stores in February on EMI Nashville. It features the hit single “Friday Night.” On this week’s show Eric talks about writing for other artists, recording his debut album, his Texas football roots and much more.
Also on this week’s installment of College Football Country, WestwoodOne analyst Terry Donahue joins the show to preview bowl season and Clay talks with Baylor head coach Art Briles ahead of the Fiesta Bowl and Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn before his Tigers play Florida State in the BCS National Championship Game.
