CINCINNATI – San Diego scored 20 unanswered second-half points to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 27-10 in an AFC Wild Card playoff game Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
The Chargers ran the ball for 196 yards on 40 carries, while Philip Rivers threw the ball just 16 times, completing 12 for 128 yards and a touchdown.
The Bengals turned the ball over four times on the day, including a pair of Andy Dalton interceptions.
San Diego will travel to Denver for the third meeting of the season between the teams, which each won on the other’s home field during the season.
