Olympic Interview: Team USA shootout star T.J. Oshie

TJ Oshie with Steve GoldsteinSOCHI, Russia – T.J. Oshie put the rest of Team USA on his back in a shootout on Saturday at the Olympic Winter Games, taking six of his team’s eight attempts and scoring four times as the Americans defeated Russia 3-2.

The game went into overtime tied at 2-2 before goaltender Jonathan Quick stymied the Russians. Oshie, who plays for the St. Louis Blues in the NHL, did most of the rest.

After the victory, he stopped to talk with our Steve Goldstein.
