Tournament Interview: Wichita State’s Gregg Marshall on Kentucky and being a great program


ST. LOUIS – Wichita State remains unbeaten and the No. 1-seeded Shockers match up Sunday with perennial power and No. 8-seed Kentucky in a Midwest Region third-round game.

Coach Gregg Marshall, whose Shockers have won 35 games without a loss, identified Sunday’s game as one which helps his program measure up with history.

Kevin Kugler and Jim Jackson caught up with Coach Marshall ahead of the game.
