INDIANAPOLIS – Andrew Luck threw for 376 yards and a touchdown, while Daniel “Boom” Herron added 141 total yards and another score, as the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 26-10 Sunday in an AFC Wild Card game.
Luck was 31 of 44 for 376 yards and executed a spectacular TD toss to Donte Moncrief midway through the third quarter as the Colts started to pull away.
Indianapolis will face Denver in next weekend’s divisional round. The Bengals, meanwhile, lost in the first round for the fourth consecutive year – the first team in NFL history to suffer that fate. Cincinnati still hasn’t won a playoff game since Boomer Esiason was quarterback in January 1991.
Ian Eagle and Mike Mayock called the action on Westwood One.
