INDIANAPOLIS- Michigan State guard Tum Tum Nairn is one of just three freshmen ever to start at point guard under Spartans coach Tom Izzo. He is just the second to start in the Final Four. Nairn hopes to guide the Spartans to Monday’s national championship game against either Wisconsin or Kentucky.
In order to get to Monday’s game at Lucas Oil Stadium, Nairn and the Spartans will need to avenge a November loss to Duke that MSU sustained just four blocks away at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Kevin Kugler caught up with Nairn ahead of the game.
