This Week in the NCAA: Missy Franklin leads Cal to team swimming title

The latest winter championship is in the books and it features a familiar face for fans of the Summer Olympics.

Missy Franklin, who starred as a 17-year-old in London in 2012, won three individual titles and was a member of a pair of winning relay teams as her Cal Golden Bears won the women’s swimming and diving championship. It’ll be Franklin’s last appearance on the NCAA stage as she has since turned pro and will turn her attention toward Rio 2016.

On the men’s side, Texas claimed its 11th title.
