FOXBORO, MA – Tom Brady threw a pair of touchdown passes as New England moved a step closer to clinching the AFC’s top spot with a 33-16 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
Brady was 23 of 35 on the day as New England held on after taking a 24-3 lead into halftime.
Marcus Mariota left the game in the first half due to an apparent knee injury and didn’t return. Tennessee backup quarterback Zach Mettenberger entered the game and threw a pair of touchdowns to Delanie Walker to try to rally the Titans.
