Georgia and LSU will face off this afternoon at the Georgia Dome with the SEC championship and a spot in a BCS bowl on the line.
For LSU, a win would secure a bid in the National Championship Game. The unbeaten Tigers might even get there if they lose.
For Mark Richt’s Georgia team, a victory would bring the season full circle. Georgia lost its first game of 2011 against Boise State at the Georgia Dome, then fell the following weekend to South Carolina. They haven’t lost since and come in with a 10-2 record and a 10-game winning streak.
John Tautges and Terry Donahue will have all the action on Westwood One Sports beginning at 3:30 PM Eastern.
