Countdown to Sochi: American curler Erika Brown

Erika Brown has a story unlike many Olympians. The American curling skip will compete in her third Olympic Winter Games next month in Sochi – after a 16-year hiatus. Brown’s last trip to an Olympics came way back in 1998, when the Games were held in Nagano, Japan.

She and her teammates, known as the All-Star Team of U.S. curling, swept through the U.S. Olympics trials and will be hoping for gold in Russia.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
