BALTIMORE, MD – For the first time in 24 years, the Huskies are going dancing as Northeastern captured the CAA’s automatic NCAA Tournament berth with a 72-61 victory over William & Mary on Monday night.
Quincy Ford led the way with 22 points, including four of five shooting from three-point range. The Huskies last made the Tournament in 1991, where they lost to top-seeded North Carolina in the opening round.
Marcus Thornton led William & Mary with 20 points.
