EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Buffalo Bills defeated the New York Jets 22-17 on Thursday night, and while it wasn’t the first time Rex Ryan has won a game at MetLife Stadium, it might’ve been one of his sweetest victories there.
The former Jets coach enjoyed a winning return in his first visit to his old stomping grounds thanks to a few big plays from his defense and just enough offense.
LeSean McCoy was the biggest star for the Bills on offense, rushing for 112 yards and adding another 47 yards on five catches. On defense, Bacarri Rambo had a fumble recovery and an interception, which sealed the win.
Both teams now have equal 5-4 records on the year.
Ian Eagle and Boomer Esiason called the action on Westwood One.
