EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Kansas City Chiefs hung on to defeat the New York Jets, 23-20, on Sunday night at MetLife Stadium.
Leading 17-0 after the first quarter, the Chiefs saw the Jets rally to tie the game at 20 in the third quarter.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes ran for a pair of critical first downs on the game’s final drive to help seal the win, while Jets quarterback Zach Wilson turned in a strong effort, throwing for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
