SAN DIEGO — No Antonio Gates, no problem for the San Diego Chargers as they downed Tennessee 38-10 on Sunday afternoon.
Backup tight end Dante Rosario had the game of his life in place of the Chargers’ perennial Pro Bowler, who was made inactive when he didn’t recover in time from an injury to his ribs sustained in Monday night’s win over the Raiders.
Rosario caught three Philip Rivers passes for touchdowns and Jackie Battle ran for two more scores as the Chargers routed the Titans.
Wayne Larrivee and Mark Malone called the action on Westwood One Sports.
