Kyle Macy is an analyst for coverage of NCAA Basketball and the NCAA Tournament on Westwood One Sports.
A three-time All-American at the University of Kentucky, Macy was selected in the first round of the 1979 NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns. He enjoyed a ten-year professional career, including seven years in the NBA and a three-year stint in Italy.
After retiring, Macy served as the analyst for Kentucky Wildcats broadcasts on the Kentucky Radio Network from 1993-1997. Macy left that job to become the head coach at Morehead State (1997-2006).
Since 2007, Macy has returned to broadcasting. In addition to his work with Westwood One, Macy has also provided analysis for a variety of outlets including ESPN, the SEC Network, UKTV Network and other.
