ST. LOUIS (10/2/11) – The Washington Redskins (3-1) built a 17-point lead then held on as St. Louis tried to rally, beating the Rams 17-10 on Sunday afternoon.
Ryan Torain rushed for 135 yards on 19 carries and scored a touchdown to pace the Redskins. Sam Bradford connected with Steven Jackson late to bring the Rams (0-4) within 7 but they were unable to come up with another score.
