SAN DIEGO, CA – Trailing 21-3 late in the first half, Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers reeled off 30 unanswered point to rally past Detroit in a 33-28 victory.
Rivers had a pair of touchdown passes in the comeback and completed 35 of 42 passes for 402 yards – the seventh 400-yard game of his career.
Rookie Ameer Abdullah had a big game for the Lions with 94 total yards on offense and a touchdown to go with 105 yards on three kickoff returns.
