CHARLOTTE, NC – Cam Newton wasn’t exactly perfect – but he was more than good enough to keep the Carolina Panthers unbeaten on the season with a 27-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Newton threw a touchdown pass and ran for another, but was intercepted three times on the night. It didn’t matter with the Panthers defense continuing to play at a high level.
Carolina sacked Sam Bradford five times and had an interception as the Panthers improved to 6-0. The Eagles dropped to 3-4.
Wayne Larrivee and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
