OAKLAND, CA – Rookie Josh Jacobs scored the go-ahead touchdown on an 18-yard rush with just 1:02 remaining in regulation, lifting the Oakland Raiders to a 26-24 victory over the division rival Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football. The back-and-forth affair saw four lead changes.
The Oakland defense harassed Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers all night, sacking him five times and inducing three interceptions, including a “pick-six” by Erik Harris, who caught two of Rivers’ three picks.
The Raiders improve to 5-4, while the Chargers fall to 4-6.
Ryan Radtke and Hall of Famer Rod Woodson called the action on Westwood One.
