MNF Highlights: Redskins 17 – Giants 16

LANDOVER, MD – Robert Griffin III’s Monday Night Football debut lived up to the hype as the rookie quarterback led Washington to a 17-16 victory over the New York Giants.

Griffin connected with Pierre Garcon early in the fourth quarter to put the Redskins ahead, then executed brilliantly down the stretch as the Washington offense ran out the clock.

The Redskins improved to 6-6 on the season, while New York dropped to 7-5.
