SEATTLE – Russell Wilson threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks secured a playoff spot – and moved a step closer to home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs – with a dominant 34-7 victory Monday night over the New Orleans Saints.
Seattle improved to 11-1 on the season and has a two-game edge in the race for the #1 overall seed. With a win next week at San Francisco, they’d secure the NFC West crown.
The Seahawks defense shut down New Orleans all night, limiting Drew Brees to just 147 yards passing – ending his streak of consecutive 200-yard games at 43, two games shy of tying the NFL record held by our very own Dan Fouts.
Kevin Harlan and Dan Fouts called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
