Rod Woodson looks ahead to Wild Card Weekend

Lightning RodIt was a long and winding road, but the calendar has flipped to 2014 and it’s time for the 12 teams that made the NFL postseason to begin the three-week journey towards an appearance in Super Bowl XLVIII in New York-New Jersey.

While the four highest seeds cozy up on their collective couches to watch the action thanks to their first-round byes, the other eight teams will do battle on Wild Card Weekend. To get you ready, our NFL analyst and Pro Football Hall of Famer Rod Woodson gives you something to ponder ahead of each game.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Rod Woodson is an analyst for WestwoodOne’s coverage of the NFL. This weekend, Rod will be braving the elements in Green Bay – though not as much as sideline reporter Mark Malone – as the Packers host the San Francisco 49ers. Coverage begins Sunday afternoon immediately following the conclusion of the Cincinnati-San Diego game. Coverage of our playoff doubleheader begins at 12:30 PM Eastern.
