Our Hall of Fame defensive back Rod Woodson was on hand Sunday in Denver when Peyton Manning made history by becoming just the second quarterback in NFL history to throw for 500 or more touchdowns.
In honor of that accomplishment – and the fact that Manning is just six TDs from breaking Brett Favre’s all-time touchdown pass mark – Lightning Rod this week is dedicated to the quarterback position.
In this installment, Rod tells us why he loved Kenny Stabler growing up, how much he enjoys watching Russell Wilson now, looks back on how much trouble his teams had against Dan Marino and the Dolphins and recalls his first NFL interception – which just happened to be a pick-six against our very own Boomer Esiason of the Cincinnati Bengals.
