MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Ryan Tannehill threw a pair of second-half touchdown passes as the Miami Dolphins defeated the Buffalo Bills 22-9 on Thursday night.
Tannehill was 26 of 34 for 240 yards on a night when offense was at a premium.
The Bills led 9-3 midway through the third quarter thanks to three Dan Carpenter field goals, but Tannehill found Brandon Gibson to give Miami the lead.
Bills quarterback Kyle Orton was then called for intentional grounding in the end zone and the Dolphins were awarded a safety. Miami extended the lead with a touchdown pass to Jarvis Landry
Ian Eagle and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
