It was a long week for the San Francisco 49ers, who felt as though they had victory snatched away from them by an official’s flag last weekend against New Orleans. The late loss after a controversial roughing the passer call led to the Niners’ second straight defeat after a five-game winning streak.
Of course, that five-game streak came on the heels of two September losses, so last year’s Super Bowl runners up will be looking to begin another good run tonight as they visit the Washington Redskins for Monday Night Football.
