GREEN BAY, WI – Aaron Rodgers left the game early with a shoulder injury and the Chicago Bears capitalized with a 27-20 win at Green Bay on Monday Night Football to create a three-way tie atop the NFC North at the halfway point of the season. The Bears, Packers and Detroit Lions are all 5-3 after eight games.
Rodgers didn’t return after being sacked on the first Green Bay possession of the game. Chicago was also without its starting quarterback Jay Cutler, who missed the game with a groin injury. McCown was solid in relief, throwing for 272 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Forte rushed for 125 yards and a score for Chicago.
Seneca Wallace was uneven subbing for Rodgers, completing 11 of 19 passes for 114 yards with an interception. Eddie Lacy continued a solid run, picking up 150 yards and a touchdown on the ground in defeat.
