SEATTLE – Russell Wilson hit Jermaine Kearse for a 35-yard touchdown on the opening possession of overtime as the Seattle Seahawks rallied for a 28-22 overtime victory over Green Bay in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
The Seahawks trailed 19-7 with less than five minutes to play, but came from behind thanks to a Wilson TD run, a successful onside kick and a long Marshawn Lynch TD dash.
But now trailing by three points, Green Bay wasn’t done. Aaron Rodgers drove the Packers down the field and Mason Crosby hit a 48-yard field goal to force overtime.
Kevin Harlan and Dan Fouts called the action on Westwood One.
